Just call me Preggosaurus....say WHAT?

Guess what touching a Fertility statue will get you?

"In the Family Way" "Knocked Up" "Bun in the Oven" "Up the Duff" "Marinating" "With Child" "Expecting" "Preggosaurus"

That is CORRECT we are expecting a beautiful baby due December 16. We decided to forgo announcing our pregnancy in some of these amazing ways, we are just not that creative. I'll try to answer a few popular questions below:

The little nugget of sunshine. That foot is so stinkin' cute.

1. Do you know what you are having?
I'm pretty sure it's going to be a baby human though you can't tell that from the Ultra Sound.  ALL jokes aside, we have no idea if the little nugget is a boy or a girl. We will hopefully find out on July 29th for our 20 week scan.

2. Are you having the baby in Scotland?
Shoot yeah,  gotta take advantage of the socialized healthcare while we can.

3. How do you feel?

I'm doing a lot better. The first several weeks were pretty terrible: exhaustion, heart burn, queasy, dizzy, and on an emotional roller coaster. Poor Raymond, he calls my outbursts NRCs No Reason Crys. Thankfully though, these things have leveled off somewhat and I am able to function on a somewhat normal level. I still have my bad days but the good are outweighing the bad.

4. How much longer will you be in Scotland?
At least another 2 years! And the baby will sadly NOT have duel citizenship. Not the same rules here in the UK. Although saying you were born in Scotland is pretty cool.

5. Do you have any names picked out?
Raymond and I have been talking about names since before we were engaged. We have not completely decided on any names though we have some that we like more than others.

6. Are you ever moving back to the states?
Maybe, make Raymond a job offer if you want us back in the states! :) In reality we will go where the jobs are, if that's here in Scotland we'll stay but if it's back in the states we'll happily move home.

Both our families are very excited and supportive. We will be back in the states in August for a quick visit. 1 week in upstate New York to see Raymond's family and one week in Charlotte. We can't wait to see everybody!
